Anthony Bruozas has extensive litigation experience in in commercial, insurance coverage, and personal injury. After graduating from Loyola University of Chicago School of Law where he was the Research Editor for the Law Review, Mr. Bruozas briefly served as Assistant Regional Counsel for the United States Environmental Protection Agency (Region V) and two years as a law clerk to the Honorable James B. Parsons of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
He is licensed to practice law in Illinois, is a member of the Trial Bar for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and has been admitted in state/federal courts for Alaska, Arizona, California, Florida, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Wisconsin.
The Firm also counsels businesses and individuals on litigation avoidance by providing regular advice on risk management. Additionally, Mr. Bruozas has extensive experience dealing with insurance companies and can provide individuals and businesses with assistance in submitting claims for first-party property damage as well as tendering a claim to an insurance carrier for defense obligations. Finally, the Firm drafts wills, revocable trusts and provides vigorous representation for marital dissolution and counseling on how to shield your assets.
For more than thirty years, Michael has provided legal advice and lawsuit representation to clients all across the United States in both state and federal courts, most especially in the Midwest. His litigation experience ranges from matters which involved a few thousand dollars to complex multi-district suits requiring international discovery with hundreds of millions of dollars at stake.
His work primarily focuses on business disputes, breach of contract and insurance coverage litigation, including property and casualty, auto, professional liability, and allegations of bad faith claim handling.
